Green Pastures

In ''Green Pasture'' you might catch the whole essence of this landscape by my use of a limited color palette and soft edges. The limited use of colors helps keep this painting in a special mood.  What mood does it make for you? This red cloaked woman is halfway along the road to the top of the hill and the early rising sun.  Can you place yourself in this painting?  What is on her mind and heart?  Is she going to turn into the house with the light on? The title might suggest to you that she is protected and loved.   Are the dark clouds being blown away or coming closer to cover over the sunrise? There are 2 clues to give you that answer.

Only you can give a hope filled explanation for this mystery.
